About The Position

This is a part-time internship position for a Design Studio Administrator located in Santa Monica, CA. The role involves working with a top-performing team in an amazing team atmosphere, participating in sales training, and maintaining excellent customer relations. The administrator will generate and support new customers on a face-to-face basis, understand Western Window Systems products, and apply processes to recommend products in architectural applications. Key responsibilities include increasing brand awareness through hosting events at the Design Center and attending industry events, managing the calendar of architect events, building and executing special events and promotions, and assisting with social media marketing. The role also involves creating Lunch and Learn schedules, developing marketing materials with the corporate Digital and Graphics Team, updating internal marketing materials, participating in sales calls, and providing marketing support to local architects. Additionally, the administrator will coordinate events for the architectural and builder communities, invite architects to open house events, conduct external/offsite promotions, attend networking events, and partner with teams to develop strategic positioning and integrated marketing initiatives. Reporting on completed campaigns and managing budgets are also part of the role. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Understand Western Window Systems products and apply processes and reasoning to appropriately present, promote, select and recommend products in architectural applications.
  • Increase clients brand awareness thru the Hosting of Events at the Design Center and through attending Architect and industry events, including being on site to provide Western dealers, architects, builders, and homeowners information.
  • Create and update calendar of architect events both in the design center and on online event tracking platform (Salesforce).
  • Build, promote and execute monthly/quarterly special events and promotions from start to finish to achieve sales goals.
  • Work individually, and with the local and corporate sales and marketing team to plan events with associations such as local Chambers of Commerce, AIA, CSI, and regional design and building chapters.
  • Create Lunch and Learn schedules and events.
  • Assist with Social media marketing for the design center - Facebook, Instagram, Google Business, Eventbrite, and company website.
  • Take photos at design center and all architect events for the Western Region on camera or phone to use on social media.
  • Answer online reviews, voicemails and social media comments.
  • Work with corporate Digital and Graphics Team to develop marketing materials.
  • Update internal marketing materials - table tents, flyers, chalkboards, and presentations, etc.
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly sales calls with architect reps.
  • Outreach to local architects to provide marketing support materials and product samples.
  • Work with the Sales and Marketing Teams to plan and coordinate events for the regional Architectural and Builder communities.
  • Calling architects to invite to open house events for Santa Monica and San Diego locations.
  • External/offsite promotion - meet with potential clients, host offsite pop-ups.
  • Attend offsite networking events and stay up to date with local associations.
  • Partner with relevant teams to develop strategic positioning, identify insights, and establish clear objectives and measures of success for truly integrated marketing initiatives.
  • Report on completed campaigns, apply basic analytical skills to identify any performance highlights and/or trends to inform strategy and tactics for moving forward.
  • Ensure effective budget management including reconciliation and invoice approval.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
