About The Position

The Design Research Intern will work with cross-functional team members, conducting research studies, and bringing actionable insights as part of our product development process. We are seeking a researcher who is passionate about being end user centric and able to clearly communicate research findings to stakeholders. This Internship is Hybrid in Niles, IL.

Requirements

In-process of a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in design, cognitive science, or research-related field
Experience in user research with an emphasis on research related to product and/or software experiences
Experience designing and conducting user research using a variety of methodologies
Ability to work well with other researchers, developers, product managers, designers and business partners
Experience conducting research and understanding core research principles and processes
Experience determining the most impactful insights from findings and building a compelling story

Responsibilities

Work with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify research needs
Design and execute a variety of research studies, including interviews, usability studies, surveys, field studies or similar
Analyze and synthesize research results collaborating with work partners
Uncover actionable feedback for product development to share with key stakeholders
Present and share findings via workshops, presentations, reports, as needed
