About The Position
The Design & Release Engineer (DRE) is responsible for the development of an assigned component within the Client Infotainment Group. The DRE acts as the representative for their assigned component, both internally and externally, and is accountable for adhering to planning and project constraints. Key responsibilities include responding to change requests during the development phase and managing issue response and tracking during the production phase, which significantly influence the DRE's planning. Additionally, the Design & Release Engineer is responsible for managing Tier 1 suppliers who are tasked with the component's design.
