About The Position

A growing technology and low-voltage organization in New York is looking for a Design Production Manager to lead and improve its design production function across AV, Security and ICT/Structured Cabling projects. This is a senior position for someone who combines a strong Revit/BIM and low-voltage design background with the ability to manage design standards, workflows, quality and resources across multiple projects. The role will work closely with engineering, project management and leadership to ensure drawings and design packages are produced accurately, consistently and efficiently.

Requirements

Strong background in low-voltage/technology design
Experience across AV, Security and/or ICT/Structured Cabling
Advanced Revit/BIM experience
Experience developing BIM standards, templates and production workflows
Strong understanding of construction documentation and multidisciplinary coordination
Experience reviewing and managing design deliverables
Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and production requirements
Previous leadership, team coordination or design management experience preferred

Responsibilities

Lead design production across AV, Security and ICT/Telecom projects
Manage and improve Revit/BIM workflows, standards, templates and libraries
Oversee drawing quality, coordination and overall design deliverables
Coordinate workloads and resources across multiple concurrent projects
Review drawings and provide technical/design guidance to production teams
Develop and maintain QA/QC processes and design standards
Support the continued development and adoption of Revit within the business
Work closely with engineering and project teams from design through construction
Identify opportunities to improve design efficiency through technology and automation
Mentor and support designers and BIM/Revit professionals
