About The Position

Anduril’s Design Team is seeking a Design Product Manager to join our team. The Design Team leads Anduril’s brand identity, visual communication, concept art, and industrial design. Our team’s purpose is to connect the mission, people, and products to elevate the Anduril brand. As a Design Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the design to manufacturing pipeline for the Industrial Design team. The ideal candidate will have deep industrial design development knowledge in a technical environment. If you are a team player who is passionate about the design process and bringing products to life, then this role is for you.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years professional experience as a project or product manager in hardware management
• Strong understanding of industrial design process and design for manufacturing
• Experience with engineering teams and hardware product development is required
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally, especially between creative and technical disciplines
• A reliable self-starter, highly organized, resourceful, with attention to detail
• A team player who is highly collaborative with the ability to handle complex projects on a global scale
• Must be able to carry and lift loads up to 50lbs
• Must work on-site at HQ in Costa Mesa, Ca
• Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of digital asset management, JIRA, Coupa, and Airtable are a plus

Responsibilities

• Support the team as key liaison between Industrial Design team and manufacturing leads
• Track hardware manufacturing development and lifecycles across all business lines
• Develop a synchronous DFM product roadmap across hardware portfolio
• Implement design requirements across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Logistics
• Update internal documentation on design mechanics
• Coordinate asset delivery internally and externally
