About The Position
Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is seeking a Design Manager for its A/E Services. This is an on-site, long-term direct hire position located in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves managing facilities design and the planning and coordination of capital projects, including design, contract administration, cost estimating, and scheduling. Candidates must be located in Southern California and authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. The salary range for this position is $173,000 - $194,000.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years full time paid professional experience managing the facilities design, or the planning and coordination of capital projects that included the overall design, contract administration, cost estimating, and scheduling activities
- 4 years of this experience must be with the design, planning and construction of educational facilities or similar public agencies
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering
- Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Simplex is required.
- Must be located in Southern California.
