About The Position
BCI, a leader in the women's fashion industry since 1975, operates a multi-brand platform including CeCe, Vince Camuto, Ted Baker, 1.State, and Parker. The company is dedicated to innovation, excellence, and women's empowerment through fashion. This is a paid, temporary internship opportunity within the Vince Camuto brand.
Requirements
- Must be currently pursuing or have completed degree in fashion design
- Must have at least 1+ year of experience in fashion industry
- Must be organized and have STRONG attention to detail
- Must be a team player
- Proficient computer skills
- Excellent in multitasking and doing what it takes to meet deadlines
Nice To Haves
- Ability to use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus
Responsibilities
- Organizing Sketch Board
- Assistant with oversea showroom sample development in all aspects, including creating color cards, fabric cards and tech packs
- Assist with in-house garment making
- Making CADs for market
- Local trim and fabric sourcing
- Filling fabric swatches and trims
- Occasional errands consisting of picking up food, coffee, supplies, etc.
