About The Position

Iris is seeking a Design Intern for their Summer 2026 Internship Program. This is an opportunity to work alongside a team of designers, motion designers, and creatives to develop sharp visuals for client work. The intern will experience the day-to-day of agency life, contributing to multimedia campaigns for world-class clients. The role requires a strong design point-of-view and inspiration across creative disciplines.

Requirements

Pursuing or graduated with a degree in art, graphic design or other relevant field.
Pursuing a career at an advertising/marketing agency, design studio, internal marketing department, or other relevant business.
Portfolio demonstrates knowledge of craft and excitement to learn execution and elevate craft across traditional and digital platforms.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma is a plus.
Self-motivated, decisive and doesn’t mind diving into the deep end.
Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.
Must be able to work 3 days/week (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday) required in NYC office.

Nice To Haves

Experience or basic knowledge that includes some or all of the following: illustration, identity/branding, digital design, motion is a plus, print, OOH.

Responsibilities

Work alongside a team of designers, motion designers, and creatives.
Crack tough briefs with sharp visuals.
Experience the day-to-day of agency life.
Help craft a look for client work.
Collaborate with the team to produce work for clients across multimedia campaigns.
Contribute to the work the team is doing for clients.
Present to leaders at the end of the internship.
