About The Position

IdeaTek is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Graphic Design Intern to join their Marketing team for the Summer 2026. This role offers hands-on experience in bringing creative ideas to life through design, supporting real campaigns and brand initiatives. The intern will assist the Graphic Designer with various creative projects across digital, print, social media, events, and internal communications, aiming to build a portfolio, strengthen design skills, and collaborate within a fast-paced, innovative team. This is a part-time, paid summer internship, approximately 30 hours per week, with a potential to continue part-time during the school year. The position is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week at the Wichita, KS location.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field
Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud products, specifically Adobe Illustrator
Experience using Canva
Ability to leverage foundational AI tools
Ability to work on-site in Wichita, KS 2–3 days per week
Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to accept constructive feedback and apply revisions effectively
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Nice To Haves

Previous internship, freelance, or professional design experience
Experience with Google Workspace tools
Familiarity with WordPress or website content updates
Experience creating content for social media or marketing campaigns

Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day graphic design needs including social media graphics, digital and print ads, direct mail, campaign assets, and marketing collateral
Support internal design projects such as presentation materials, employee communications, newsletters, and event graphics
Apply IdeaTek brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency across all materials and markets
Assist with campaign brainstorming, concept development, and creative production
Organize and maintain marketing assets and shared design files
Update website content and support routine production tasks for the marketing team
Adapt templates and existing designs to support market-specific campaigns and initiatives
Collaborate with team members to manage multiple creative projects and deadlines
Research and utilize AI tools and creative technologies to support ideation, content creation and workflow efficiency
