The Timken Company is seeking Design Engineers to participate in its highly respected technical training program. This accelerated 6-month program, based in North Canton, Ohio, will expose participants to all aspects of The Timken Company business, preparing them for future success. Requirements

• Future college graduate (December 2026 – May 2027).
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
• Ability to relocate to our Corporate Headquarters in North Canton, Ohio.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Engineering internships/co-ops preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support to customers and all areas of the company on existing bearing designs.
• Analyze and implement design changes using 3D modeling software.
• Understand and leverage design for manufacturing techniques to satisfy customer requirements efficiently.
• Design new bearings by applying engineering principles.
• Collaborate on new product introduction teams.
• Work on cross-functional project teams including manufacturing, R&D, product implementation teams, and application engineering.
