Overview: The RF Pallet Design Engineer will design and test high power RF pallets and modules for various commercial, aerospace, and defense applications.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineer, physics, or similar field with minimum 3+ years experience, or Master's degree with minimum of 1+ years of experience
Familiarity with RF circuit architecture and RF module system design
Experience in advanced high power RF measurements, GaN power amplifiers, mixed signal systems, and/or power management circuits.
Familiarity with standard test equipment (network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, power meters, etc.) and strong hands-on RF test skills.
Experience with EDA/ECAD tools such as Keysight ADS, MWO, Altium, HFSS or similar simulations tools.
Experience with PCB layout and signal integrity analysis
Excellent spoken and written English.
Self-motivated with strong planning and organizational skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to details.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work within a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with MCAD (Solidworks or AutoCAD) or thermal simulations a plus.

Responsibilities

Work in a multi-disciplinary team across multiple locations to develop single- and multi-stage RF pallets and module products.
Be responsible for designing, simulating, building, and testing power amplifier pallets.
Work with product line managers to ensure customer specifications and timelines are met.
Collaborate with the device design team to optimize GaN high power amplifiers for customer specific applications.
Work with assembly team and product engineering team to ensure first prototypes meet manufacturability requirements and to transfer products to production.
Document, characterize, and release pallet products for high volume production.
