About The Position
We are seeking a Design Engineer to support our client with a variety of exciting drug delivery and medical products, leveraging technology to help advance and transform these solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
- 2-5 years of professional experience in product development engineering design (consulting or contract experience a plus)
- Familiarity with 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
- Desire to design, build, test, and troubleshoot physical prototypes
- Attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with other disciplines
- Willingness to learn and seek out answers

Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively as part of multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, industrial designers, researchers, interaction designers, and prototyping experts
- Participate in multi-disciplinary innovation sessions targeted at identifying possible development directions
- Work with senior and principal engineers to investigate concept feasibility using a combination of analytical methods and iterative physical prototyping
- Build and test prototypes to characterize performance
- Translate the output of concept and prototyping efforts into fully realized, detailed designs that are ready for production
- Present technical output and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences in a clear and concise manner
