Requirements

1-3 years of recent Design/CAD experience required
Solidworks experience highly preferred
Design/Engineering degree preferred

Nice To Haves

Solidworks Professional Certifications a plus
Experience with JD Edwards ERP a plus

Responsibilities

Create designs and detail drawings independently or along with a team of engineers and designers, using Solidworks software.
Ensure that the design is created in accordance with required specifications.
May assist in building a prototype of the intended vehicle for testing and approval.
Make modifications and/or integrate new improvements into new designs or existing designs to improve their performance.
Integrate new technology and make more cost effective.
Integrate new improvements into designs and with the quality assurance team to ensure that required quality standards are adhered to.
Interact with sales and customers, on design specifications, to ensure total satisfaction.
Assist in the creation and improvement of company wide process documentation.
Supports and participates in Morgan Olson’s PPS team efforts.
Adheres to Quality policy by exceeding customer expectations, being customer focused and supporting continuous improvement activities.
Adheres to Safety policies and practices behavioral based safety 100% of the time.
Other duties as assigned.
