Requirements

College degree with a major in engineering or a comparable degree or experienced mechanical Technician.
Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience with CAD Software (Solid Edge / Solidworks / Inventor, etc) preferred.
Analytical skills and a business focused approach.
Communicating and Teamwork skills.
Intercultural skills.
Exceptional verbal & written communication and presentation skills to provide quick responses to questions, provide product information, and make recommendations.
Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
High level of integrity and work ethic.
Professional Skills at Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Skills at any kind of ERP system such as SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

Nice To Haves

Familiar with the metric system (beneficial but not mandatory).

Responsibilities

Designing custom solutions using the item machine building kit using the item Engineeringtool and Solid Edge.
Transfer drawings into company enterprise resource planning system (ERP-System) to create quotes for customers.
Technical Support and specialization for the item Engineeringtool.
Work with the sales team to provide best solutions for customers and participate in meetings.
Prepare customer orders for production.
Quality control of peer designs and production documentation.
Administrative tasks and communication between the headquarters in Germany, item LLC and distributors.
CAD Maintenance.
Technical and product training as required.
