About The Position

Paires is an AI-first fundraising platform that connects founders with investors and facilitates warm outreach. The company operates a profitable, self-funded, two-sided platform with paying clients, managed by a small, senior, and agile team. This role involves owning the frontend development, working closely with a designer to bring a premium feel to the founder-facing product, internal platform, and an upcoming investor-facing portal. The engineer will also handle full-stack development when necessary and report directly to the co-founders within a senior team structure.

Requirements

Shipped production React and Next.js used by real users.
Proficiency in Tailwind and Supabase on the frontend.
Ability to build what you design without a handoff, demonstrating taste and strong opinions about craft.
Portfolio of live products, specifically product UI like dashboards, data-dense workflows, and AI-native surfaces.
Comfortable in the backend and able to ship features end-to-end.
Several years of shipped production work experience.
Experience moving fast with AI tooling and critically reviewing its output.

Nice To Haves

Experience with shadcn/ui.
Experience with design systems.
Experience with motion design.
Experience with data-heavy dashboards.
Experience with AI-product UI such as streaming interfaces and human-review surfaces.

Responsibilities

Own frontend development using Next.js and React.
Develop the founder journey and investor portal with a premium polish.
Perform full-stack work, from backend to shipped screen, as features require.
Collaborate on design decisions with the team's designer and implement detailed craft elements.
