About The Position

YUSA Corporation’s R&D facility is seeking a mechanical engineer to design and develop anti-vibration products for automotive applications and provide engineering support to customers.

Requirements

• BSME is required

Nice To Haves

• Product design/development experience
• Experience with rubber anti-vibration products
• Experience with CATIA
• Experience in the automotive industry
• Experience with lightweight materials, especially plastics
• Experience with a variety of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, stamping, forging, additive manufacturing and extrusion
• A working knowledge of automobiles

Responsibilities

• Work with customer engineering contacts to establish product requirements
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings to meet customer specs
• Assist in the manufacture and validation of prototypes
• Work with YUSA’s production facility to optimize designs for manufacturability and cost
• Work with suppliers to develop cost and weight reduction ideas
• Provide reports and technical information to meet internal and customer requirements.
