About The Position

MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions is seeking two Design Engineers responsible for the layout, design, and coordination of assigned projects, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely deliverables. These roles will support ongoing engineering documentation, design development, and quality control efforts. The Design Engineers will work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver coordinated mechanical designs and construction documents aligned with company standards. Requirements

• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu is required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred.
• Experience in the construction or building systems industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce fully coordinated, accurate HVAC and plumbing system designs that meet project requirements, codes, and quality standards.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring schedules, budgets, and performance goals are consistently achieved.
• Coordinate project workflows, delegate tasks effectively, and guide team members to deliver on time and with precision.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure design intent aligns seamlessly with construction execution.
• Create and maintain detailed calculations, reports, and design drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu.
• Mentor and train team members to strengthen technical expertise, uphold company standards, and support professional growth.
• Drive process improvements and introduce new technologies that enhance design efficiency and project delivery.
