Design Engineer Level 3
About The Position
Span Tech, LLC is seeking a Design Engineer Level 3 for their Glasgow, KY location. This role involves interfacing with the Engineering Supervisor on non-standard Designer System specifications, designing and developing Designer System Conveyors and product handling components, and evaluating system specifications for cost efficiency and reliability. The Design Engineer Level 3 will also oversee the design, development, and implementation of all products and systems, possess a broad knowledge of engineering procedures, and interface with Account Managers, Production Managers, and Assembly Leaders to ensure projects meet customer expectations. Additionally, this position will assist other Design Engineers and Detailers on job specifications and demonstrate an understanding of design principles and standards for various Design Detailer and Design Engineer levels.
Requirements
- Broad knowledge of engineering procedures.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the design principles and standards for Design Detailer Level 1 and 2, Design Engineer Level 1, 2 and 3 components.
Responsibilities
- Interfaces with the Engineering Supervisor regarding non-standard Designer System specifications.
- Designs and develops Designer System Conveyors and product handling components.
- Evaluates system specifications for cost efficiency and reliability.
- Responsible for implementation of high-level non-standard Designer System components.
- Oversees the design, development, and implementation of all products and systems.
- Interfaces with Account Managers, Production Managers, and Assembly Leaders to ensure the project is designed and built to customer expectations.
- Assist Design Engineers and Detailers on all job specifications.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the design principles and standards for Design Detailer Level 1 and 2, Design Engineer Level 1, 2 and 3 components.
