About The Position

This internship offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with Engineering, Switches Production, and other functional teams on various documentation projects. The role involves understanding and improving work instructions and assembly SOPs, analyzing quality systems for continuous improvement, organizing line documentation, and creating CAD models for tooling parts.

Requirements

• Students who are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial)
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• US Citizen (ITAR restrictions)
• Microsoft Office Suite capabilities
• Organized and detailed oriented
• Experience with CAD model development

Responsibilities

• Create and update standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Work collaboratively with Engineering, Switches Production, and other functional area team members to complete various documentation projects.
• Understand work instructions and assembly SOPs.
• Help analyze quality systems and data for continuous improvement opportunities.
• Organize line documentation and photograph documents.
• Create CAD models for various tooling parts.
