Requirements

  • Students who are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial)
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • US Citizen (ITAR restrictions)
  • Microsoft Office Suite capabilities
  • Organized and detailed oriented
  • Experience with CAD model development

Responsibilities

  • Create and update standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Working collaboratively with Engineering, Switches Production and other functional area team members to complete various documentation projects.
  • Understand work instructions and assembly SOPs.
  • Helps analyze quality systems and data for continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Organize line documentation and photograph documents.
  • Create CAD models for various tooling parts.
