  • Translate voice of customer (VOC) and application requirements into product designs, specifications, and performance targets
  • Develop detailed engineering concepts and drawings for customer proposals, design reviews, and product manufacturing
  • Lead design reviews, risk assessments (DFMEA), and validation activities to ensure product performance and reliability
  • Develop and validate prototypes, including creation of test plans and driving design iterations to meet product requirements
  • Lead and support agency compliance efforts (e.g., UL, CSA, IEC), including design considerations, documentation development, and interactions as needed
  • Lead pre-production builds, pilot runs, and validation testing to ensure successful product launch
  • Troubleshoot design, quality, and field-related issues and implement corrective actions
  • Drive continuous improvement and product enhancement through post-launch analysis, customer feedback, ECRs, and design update
