Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of product engineering experience required.
  • Previous experience working with an ERP system required.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical information.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams and collaborating across multiple departments to deliver innovative product and design solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform final drawing reviews, approvals, and releases while ensuring product functionality, manufacturability, and component compatibility.
  • Serve as the primary engineering contact for assigned Thermo Fisher Scientific Core Accounts.
  • Support the design team by researching and selecting new components for custom product designs.
  • Act as a technical subject matter expert for new product lines and product enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Research & Development to specify, evaluate, and qualify new components and connection technologies.
  • Partner with Quality, Operations, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, and Customer Service teams to investigate customer concerns, support TrackWise investigations, and coordinate CAPA activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and process optimization.
  • Develop and maintain engineering work instructions, standards, and training documentation.
