About The Position

This role involves designing, developing, and testing product designs under guidance. The Design Engineer I will also provide production support to machining and assembly operations. Responsibilities include analyzing engineering sketches, specifications, and drawings to determine design factors such as size, shape, and arrangement of components. The engineer will prepare sketches, layouts, and basic calculations including angles, weights, surface areas, dimensions, and clearances, and support the development of product designs and engineering documentation. Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of engineering and design concepts
• Familiarity with engineering design software
• Ability to learn quickly and manage multiple tasks
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude
• 0 to two (2) years of relevant engineering or design experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
