They are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to handle diverse engineering duties, primarily focusing on product design, tooling design, and the implementation, testing, and validation of new products. The role requires the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, with an emphasis on developing and introducing new products while upholding quality and reliability standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field
2+ years of engineering work experience, preferably in manufacturing and more specifically in screen printing and plastics molding/fabrication
Expert user of 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)

Responsibilities

Perform varied engineering duties that primarily involve product design, tooling design, and new product production implementation and testing and validation
Manage several projects at a time with a focus on developing and introducing new products, while ensuring quality and reliability standards are met
Create designs and drawings utilizing 3D CAD software while adhering to the fit, form and function requirements as well as manufacturing capabilities and process requirements
Design tooling and create CNC programs
Plan, direct and coordinate new product production implementation
Apply sound engineering principles while contributing to the design and development of existing and new products
