Design Engineer Associate
About The Position
SAIC is seeking a Design Engineer Associate in Crane, IN. This role performs Systems Engineering activities related to Information Technology or Engineering. Responsibilities include assisting in the development of test routines for specific equipment, using schematics and diagrams to aid technicians in troubleshooting circuit card assemblies to a component level, and designing test fixtures to enhance the troubleshooting process. The role also involves regular communication with technicians and other engineers, and participation in requirements definition, analysis and engineering, system architecting, system analysis and design, interface and data architectures, validation and verification, systems integration, and system & op. performance analysis.

Responsibilities
- Assisting in the development of test routines for the AN/USM-676 Pinpoint IIR and AN/USM-726(V) Huntron Tracker Model 32.
- Using schematics, diagrams, and layouts to assist technicians in troubleshooting failed circuit card assemblies (CCA) to a component level.
- Designing test fixtures to help the troubleshooting process.
- Communicating regularly with technicians and other engineers.
