About The Position
This position is for a Design Draftsman at WECTEC Staffing Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC. The role supports Westinghouse's mission to provide clean energy solutions. It is a part-time position, 20 hours per week, for a duration of up to 12 months. The work location can be local to Cayce, SC / Columbia, SC or remote.
Requirements
- 8-10 Years experience
- CAD drafting abilities (AutoCAD)
- Experience in utility, plant, or industrial environment
- Accountability and ownership of their role and how that fits into our station projects
- Basic knowledge of drafting principles.
- Full knowledge of computer skills for CAD system.
- Full knowledge of math and mechanical, electrical or civil drawings.
- Basic knowledge of company mapping methods.
Nice To Haves
- Engineering Tech (2-year) degree
Responsibilities
- Provide drafting services to our two measurement engineering employees.
- Convert high-level isometric drawings provided by measurement engineers to fabrication drawings.
- Lead, collaborate, or work with multiple teams, including diverse teams.
