About The Position

The Design Drafter is responsible for creating Designs using CAD software to create Drawings that can be used for the manufacturing of products. The role requires a high degree of organization and technical proficiency, along with adherence to safe work habits, including the use of PPE and OSHA standards when in the manufacturing area. This position may also involve other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Associate’s Degree with 10-15 years preferred.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret manufacturing drawings, technical manuals and diagrams and standards.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience with Mechanical Drawings & BOMs.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Ability to interface effectively within all levels of the organization and external customers.
Demonstrate organizational skills, practice time management, meet deadlines and drive projects to completion.
Strategic and creative thinking to analyze issues that may arise and create solutions.
Ability to respond positively to feedback and implement change in process and procedures as needed.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
Work well with all levels of the organization.
Must have the ability to wear hearing protection when in production areas that require it.
Employee is required to be on site during scheduled shift to perform daily duties and responsibilities.
