About The Position

As a member of Intel Foundry’s Frame Automation Team (FRAT), the Design Automation Engineer designs, develops, tests, and debugs software tools, flows, and methodologies used in design automation and by teams working on hardware design, process design, and manufacturing. The role captures user stories and requirements, writes functional and test code, automates build and deployment, and performs unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. It also designs and builds web-based interfaces for configuring, launching, and controlling tools, including frontends, backends, databases, and APIs. The Frame is a component of every wafer manufactured by Intel and contains silicon structures used by metrology and lithographic tools. The Frame Automation Team develops automation and specifications to support the Frame. The team works with engineers in Lithography, Process Integration, Device Physics, Circuit Design, and Resolution Enhancement Technology (RET) to understand and establish frame structures for future Intel products.
