Design Associate
About The Position
At Art of Drawers, Design Associates use people skills like reading people, making recommendations, and solving problems to help clients solve frustrating home storage issues with custom solutions. No design degree required. This role involves mostly field work, with 90% of the time spent in client homes and 10% in a home office. The company creates custom pull-out drawer and storage solutions that transform cluttered cabinets into organized, accessible spaces. They are looking for people-oriented problem-solvers who know how to listen, recommend solutions, and make customers feel heard. Full training is provided.
Requirements
- Great communicator who builds rapport quickly
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated
- Have your own phone, computer, printer, and reliable car
Nice To Haves
- Experience in customer service or behind the bar
Responsibilities
- Meet clients at their homes to understand their storage frustrations
- Recommend custom solutions that actually solve their problems (consultative, not pushy sales)
- Follow up with your client base to ensure they're happy and refer friends
- Coordinate with the team and manage your appointments
