About The Position
The Design Assistant will work closely with and support the Designer and must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment on multiple projects. Attention to detail and follow-up, excellent communication, computer skills, and problem solving are a must.
Requirements
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field and interest in residential interior design
- Internship or entry level experience in design or related industry
- Ability to take initiative
- Strong work ethic
Nice To Haves
- Design Manager experience desirable and/or ability to learn this integrated software program
- Knowledge of CAD desirable but not required
Responsibilities
- Budget management
- Client and vendor communication
- Pricing and data entry for proposals
- Presentation preparation (PowerPoint)
- Installations locally and out of state
- General organization of projects
