Kohler is looking for a Design & Sales Consultant at their Plano, TX location. This role is for individuals who are outgoing, knowledgeable, and service-oriented, enjoy staying up to date with the latest kitchen and bath design trends, have a keen eye for aesthetics, and possess the determination needed to close sales. The Design & Sales Consultant will provide expert product selection assistance and design services to showroom customers both in the showroom and at the customer’s location. The goal is to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction to meet or exceed sales and gross profit goals, and to increase profit sharing. Responsibilities include providing hospitality, selling and conducting in-store and/or in-home design consultations for kitchens and bathrooms, articulating the showroom value proposition, determining customer needs, directing them to the best products, discovering potential hurdles, and keeping the sale moving forward. The role also involves building and maintaining long-term customer relationships, developing and maintaining product knowledge, leveraging technology for product selections and specifications, using sales reports and forecasting tools, following up on leads, generating new business, entering sales orders and bids, expediting purchases, managing projects from start to finish, processing returns and refunds, maintaining the showroom's appearance, joining industry associations, attending professional events, and completing required training programs. Other duties as assigned by management are also part of the role.
