Job Summary: The Interior Alerts Design and Release Engineer (DRE) is responsible for QVPM, Hornes and outside speakers component and system design, development, and engineering release for Client production vehicles. The DRE will take part in development of vehicle level functional objectives and work to establish, and achieve, the corresponding component level functional objectives. The DRE will be responsible for the components/system from initial concept, packaging, software/hardware development, kinematic/compliance modeling, virtual analysis, physical validation, through component and vehicle launch. Responsibilities include overseeing component design, FMEA, analysis (CAE), vehicle packaging (NX), model/drawing integrity (Teamcenter), development, component validation (DVP&R, change management (CCD/WebCN), engineering bill of material (EBOM), build support, issue management (GIMS), joint design, root cause analysis, solution development, and in-person support for associated testing, issue root cause, plant support, etc.
