About The Position

Academic Alliance in Dermatology, in affiliation with Anne Arundel Dermatology, is seeking a full-time Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with prior general dermatology experience to join our team in our North Tampa office. This full-time position offers a four-day workweek and a mix of general dermatology and aesthetics, with an established patient base providing immediate volume. The provider will work from a beautiful North Tampa office and have the opportunity to perform aesthetic treatments using a Candela laser. Requirements

Minimum of two years of direct patient care experience in general dermatology as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Current or eligible Florida NP or PA license and applicable national board certification.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to deliver efficient, high-quality care in a collaborative, team-based environment.
Commitment to building long-term patient relationships and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Current national board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Active and unrestricted Florida license, or eligibility to obtain one.
Current DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain one.

Nice To Haves

Experience performing cosmetic treatments strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic dermatologic conditions.
Perform comprehensive skin examinations, biopsies, and other dermatologic procedures.
Order and review laboratory work and other diagnostic results.
Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans.
Perform cosmetic treatments and educate patients on available aesthetic services.
Accurately document examinations, treatments, and plans of care in EMA (ModMed).
Build long-term patient relationships while addressing each patient’s medical and cosmetic dermatology needs.
Maintain a professional and welcoming environment focused on high-quality patient care.
Participate in ongoing clinical, procedural, and product training.
