About The Position

Academic Alliance in Dermatology, in affiliation with Anne Arundel Dermatology, is seeking an experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Tampa office. This full-time position offers a four-day work week and will feature a mix of general dermatology and aesthetics, with a primary focus on cosmetics. Requirements

Minimum of two years of experience as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
Current board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
Active and unrestricted Florida license, or eligibility to obtain one.
Current DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat acute and chronic dermatologic conditions.
Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, including biopsies and laboratory work.
Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans.
Perform cosmetic treatments and educate patients on available aesthetic services and products.
Review patient intake forms and accurately document treatments and plans of care.
Build long-term patient relationships by matching each patient’s needs with appropriate medical and cosmetic services.
Maintain a professional and welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to high-quality patient care.
Participate in ongoing clinical and product training.
