Dermatology NP/PA
About The Position
Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with experience in dermatology for a locum tenens position. This is a clinical-only role in an outpatient setting in Kennesaw, GA, covering from August 5 to October 30, 2026. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with an average daily patient volume of 24. The primary reason for coverage is supplemental. The role involves providing comprehensive dermatology care, including skin examinations, assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and performing minor dermatological procedures such as biopsies. All patient encounters must be documented in the Epic EMR system.
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- Licensed in GA
- BLS certification
- Dermatology experience required
- Local candidate
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dermatology care to patients
- Perform skin examinations and assessments
- Diagnose and develop treatment plans
- Perform minor dermatological procedures such as biopsies
- Document patient encounters in Epic EMR
