About The Position

Optum Colorado is seeking a Dermatology Physician to join its established practice in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As part of Optum Care Delivery, the physician will provide dermatology care with support from a clinician-led organization and its clinical resources, data, and staff. The practice has robust patient demand and a strong referral base, with dedicated one-to-one support staff. The physician will conduct initial consultations and follow-up appointments, diagnose and treat skin conditions, and perform in-office dermatologic procedures. The role offers no call and no weekend coverage. Compensation generally ranges from $358,000 to $701,500, including base pay and bonus, with compensation based on factors such as local labor markets, education, experience, productivity, and performance. A $50,000 starting bonus and quality and production bonuses are offered.

Requirements

Hold an unrestricted Colorado Physician (MD/DO) license or be able to obtain one.
Be board certified or board eligible in Dermatology.
Have a current Colorado DEA certificate upon starting.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial consultations and follow-up appointments.
Diagnose and treat various skin conditions.
Perform in-office procedures, including biopsy, cryotherapy, excisions, electrodessication and curettage, and other dermatological and light cosmetic procedures.
