Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Completion of an accredited Dermatology Residency Program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology
- Active Illinois medical license or eligibility for licensure
- DEA registration or eligibility
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat a broad range of skin, hair, and nail disorders
- Perform dermatologic procedures including biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and lesion removals
- Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients on prevention and skin health
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in the electronic medical record system
- Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to ensure coordinated care
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
