About The Position

Anne Arundel Dermatology, a trusted leader in skin health for over 50 years, is seeking a Dermatologist to join its established practice, Dermatology Institute for Skin Cancer & Cosmetic Surgery, an Affiliate of Anne Arundel Dermatology, in Newnan, Georgia. The practice offers comprehensive medical, pediatric, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology services. This role is open to experienced Dermatologists and dermatology residents, with flexible full-time and part-time schedules. The position provides immediate patient demand, clinical support, and flexibility for career growth. A $150,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time physicians, along with uncapped earning potential and the opportunity to perform general dermatology and cosmetic services. The physician will be based in Newnan and will also be responsible for supervising the LaGrange practice.

Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible Dermatologist.
  • Experienced Dermatologists and dermatology residents are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of medical and surgical dermatology.
  • Comfortable managing an established patient base and growing clinical schedule.
  • Ability to provide physician supervision for the LaGrange practice.
  • Committed to providing efficient, high-quality, patient-centered dermatologic care.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in building lasting patient relationships and contributing to long-term practice growth.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff.
  • M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Successful completion of, or current enrollment in, an accredited dermatology residency program.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in dermatology.
  • Active and unrestricted Georgia medical license or ability to obtain prior to the start date.
  • Current DEA registration or ability to obtain prior to the start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in cosmetic dermatology is welcomed but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a broad range of acute and chronic dermatologic conditions.
  • Perform comprehensive skin examinations and skin cancer screenings.
  • Conduct biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and other dermatologic procedures within the physician’s training and experience.
  • Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide appropriate follow-up care and manage patients’ long-term dermatologic needs.
  • Perform cosmetic dermatology services based on training and interest.
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment options, skincare, and preventive care.
  • Document patient encounters, procedures, and treatment plans accurately in EMA.
  • Provide physician supervision for the LaGrange practice in accordance with organizational and state requirements.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, clinical staff, and practice leadership to provide coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain high standards of patient safety, clinical quality, professionalism, and compliance.
  • Build strong patient relationships and contribute to the long-term growth of the practice.
