About The Position

Advanced Dermatology Center in Wolcott, CT is seeking a Dermatologist to join our established, patient-centered practice. As part of Integrated Dermatology, one of the nation’s largest dermatology groups, this opportunity offers the security and resources of a larger organization while preserving the autonomy and personalized feel of a respected local practice. Advanced Dermatology Center has been serving patients throughout Central Connecticut since 1997. The practice provides comprehensive dermatologic care, including general medical dermatology, surgical dermatology, skin cancer screenings, mole evaluations, acne, rashes, eczema, and cosmetic/aesthetic services. The team is known for delivering high-quality, efficient care with a strong focus on patient comfort, education, and excellent customer service. The incoming Dermatologist will be supported by an experienced administrative and clinical team, including staff who assist with scribing and clinical administrative tasks so providers can focus on delivering exceptional patient care. This is an established, full-service dermatology practice with a strong local reputation, offering an opportunity to practice general dermatology, surgical dermatology, and cosmetics based on provider interest and experience in a collaborative team environment with clinical and administrative support. There are no inpatient requirements and no weekend schedule anticipated. The role benefits from high patient demand and a strong referral base in the Central Connecticut market, allowing the provider to focus on patient care while Integrated Dermatology supports back-office operations.

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • Board certified or board eligible in Dermatology
  • Eligible for or currently holding an active Connecticut medical license
  • Strong clinical judgment and commitment to patient-centered care
  • Interest in general dermatology required
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills

  • Interest in surgical dermatology, cosmetics, pediatrics, or other dermatology specialties welcomed

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services
  • Conduct comprehensive skin evaluations, skin cancer screenings, biopsies, excisions, and treatment planning
  • Diagnose and manage conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, dermatitis, hair and nail disorders, and benign and malignant skin lesions
  • Build strong relationships with patients through compassionate, thorough, and timely care
  • Collaborate with advanced practice providers, clinical staff, and administrative team members
  • Support continued growth of the practice through excellent outcomes, patient satisfaction, and community engagement
