About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens Physician position in Dermatology for an outpatient service setting in Duluth, MN. The coverage is clinical only and is needed for extra volume on an ongoing basis, starting ASAP. The schedule is Monday through Friday, day shifts, with appointments lasting 15-20 minutes and including a lunch break. The role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients of all ages with various skin disorders, performing surgical procedures, managing dermatological conditions, interpreting skin lesion samples, and providing both virtual and in-clinic consultations.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active MN License or willing to obtain
- Experience with Photopheresis
- Experience with Patch Testing
- Experience with Biopsy
- Experience with Excision
- Experience with Electrodesiccation (W/curettage)
- Experience with Cryosurgery
- Experience with Dermabrasion
- Experience with Vein Surgery
- Experience with Mohs Micrographic
- Experience with Skin flaps/grafts
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with benign and malignant skin disorders.
- Perform surgical procedures including excisions, biopsies, cryosurgery, electrosurgery, and dermabrasion.
- Manage contact dermatitis, allergic skin disorders, and skin manifestations of systemic diseases.
- Interpret tissue sections and smears of skin lesions.
- Provide virtual and in-clinic consultations.
