About The Position

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is seeking specialists in Medical Dermatology for their Caton Hill Medical Center. MAPMG is a physician-led group of over 1,800 physicians serving Kaiser Permanente patients in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. They offer competitive salaries, a physician-led structure, and a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) for coordinated care. Their focus is on long-term health, prevention, diagnosis, and effective treatment, supported by research and innovation. This position is a 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) and involves providing general medical dermatology care, both in-person and virtually. The role includes offering phototherapy (narrowband UVB and broadband UVA, as well as home phototherapy), supported by nurses and clinical pharmacists. A robust teledermatology program allows for some remote work. The position offers collaboration within a large multi-specialty setting with accessible physicians and flexible scheduling options. A new hire incentive of a $100,000 forgivable loan or $150,000 in student loan repayment is available.

Requirements

MD or DO
Board Certified or Eligible in Dermatology
Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

Responsibilities

Provide general medical dermatology care, in person and virtually.
Provide narrowband UVB and broadband UVA phototherapy and robust home phototherapy.
Utilize a robust teledermatology program.
Participate in a clinical pharmacy-assisted methotrexate service.
Manage a set daily patient schedule of less than 30 patients.
Collaborate within a large multi-specialty setting.
