About The Position

Allina Health is seeking a Dermatology Moonlighter for a great opportunity to manage your own patients. This position is for Dermatology residents to moonlight on the 2nd Saturday of every month from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Allina Health Woodbury Clinic location. The role offers $225/hour and a supervising Dermatologist for collaboration. A Minnesota license is required, and Allina Health provides reimbursement for this process.

Requirements

  • 2nd or 3rd Year Residents in a Dermatology Medical Residency Program.
  • Licensed Physician - MN Board of Medical Practice required or ability to obtain upon hire.
  • BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required within 180 Days.
  • PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support - Multisource required depending on business unit upon hire or ability to obtain.
  • Board eligible by the American Board of Dermatology or in Dermatology by the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology upon hire required.
  • Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate upon hire required.
  • Prescription Monitoring Program upon hire required.
  • National Provider Identifier upon hire required.

Responsibilities

  • In a resident capacity and within practice restrictions, provides direct patient care to individuals within the designated specialty.
  • Reviews patient's medical history while collecting, prioritizing, and synthesizing comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
  • Provides education, consultation or intervention to patients (treatment plan) and their families, in a resident practice setting.
  • Evaluates, interprets, and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care.
  • Utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, or work flows.
  • Other duties as assigned.
