About The Position

St. Mary’s Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Dermatologist to establish and lead our dermatology practice. As a vital part of our multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive dermatologic care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Requirements

Board Certified/Board Eligible Dermatologist licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of New York
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution
Strong clinical, diagnostic, and patient-centered communication skills
Adherence to Standard Precautions and utilization of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) are mandatory to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.

Experience in establishing a new practice or program development is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

Establish and lead a new dermatology practice within St. Mary’s Healthcare.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions, including medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
Perform dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, excisions, and other minor surgical interventions.
Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Provide patient education and counseling, ensuring patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols.
Stay current with emerging treatments and advancements in dermatology.
Engage in community outreach and education programs to promote skin health.
