Requirements

  • Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
  • Possesses deep understanding of automations and suite of tools required to deliver a Workface Planning program – Primavera, Synchro 4D, Navisworks, ModelBuilder, Book Builder, TEAMWorks, Setroute, and XFighter (preferred)
  • Familiarity with Engineering, Startup, or Project Controls is beneficial.
  • Working knowledge of EPC tools such as TeamWorks, SmartPlant, Synchro 4D, and related systems.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills across project functions.
  • Ability to analyze project data and support reporting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across diverse teams.
  • Problem-solving mindset with ability to support resolution of field challenges.
  • Understanding of construction practices and workface planning principles.

Responsibilities

  • Support Workface Planning inputs to the 90-day and 3-week lookahead by Installation Work Package (IWP), helping ensure schedule accuracy and alignment with Level 4 schedules and 4D planning.
  • Assist in ensuring constraint-free IWPs are available to the field.
  • Support tracking of readiness and visibility to constraints at 150-day, 90-day, and 3-week intervals and assist in driving resolution through coordination.
  • Assist in validating IWP development sequence to align with field execution strategy.
  • Support development and maintenance of metrics and dashboards to monitor WFP performance.
  • Ensure current design documents are used and changes are properly approved prior to implementation.
  • Support monitoring of construction operations and subcontractor performance relative to plans.
  • Provide input and support to site leadership with execution strategies and solutions.
  • Assist in mentoring and supporting Workface Planners on Advanced Work Packaging concepts.
  • Support supervision and coordination of discipline Workface Planners as directed.
  • Maintain IWP inputs in Teamworks and update as design evolves.
  • Relay construction priorities to Engineering and Procurement teams and assist in tracking impacts.
  • Coordinate with EPC automation personnel to support system configurations for IWPs.
  • Identify planning gaps and escalate or collaborate to resolve issues.
  • Work closely with Area Superintendents and Area Managers to support prioritization and execution.
  • Ensure WFP responsibilities are effectively supported within assigned areas.
