About The Position

Reporting to the Title IX Coordinator, the Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Employee Investigations serves as the lead investigator for employee-related complaints under the University’s Sexual and Related Misconduct Policy and supports centralized case management functions for the Title IX Office.

Requirements

Serves as the lead investigator for employee-related complaints under the University’s Sexual and Related Misconduct Policy.
Supports centralized case management functions for the Title IX Office.
Conducts prompt, thorough, equitable, trauma-informed, and impartial investigations involving allegations of sexual harassment, sexual misconduct, retaliation, stalking, relationship violence, and other prohibited conduct involving employees.
Manages a caseload of employee-related complaints and reports under the University’s Sexual and Related Misconduct Policy from intake through resolution.
Conducts interviews; gathers, assesses, and analyzes evidence; and prepares detailed investigative reports and findings.
Coordinates with Human Resources, Academic Affairs, Public Safety, Student Affairs, General Counsel, and other campus stakeholders to manage Title IX matters.
Provides guidance to managers and campus stakeholders regarding Title IX-related policies, procedures, reporting obligations, and resolution processes.
Supports administration of the University’s Title IX compliance program in accordance with Title IX, VAWA, the Clery Act, and applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Maintains accurate, confidential, and organized records related to investigations, resolutions, compliance activities, and reporting requirements using case management and tracking systems.
Monitors developments in applicable laws, regulations, and guidance and assists in updating policies, procedures, communications, and institutional practices accordingly.
Assists in preparing institutional reports, audits, trend analyses, and compliance-related documentation.
Assists in the development and facilitation of training, educational programming, and prevention initiatives related to Title IX, prohibited conduct, reporting obligations, and bystander intervention.
Supports outreach, communications, website content management, and logistics for the Title IX Working Group and other Title IX-related initiatives and committees.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree, JD, or other advanced degree in higher education, law, human resources, counseling, public administration, or a related field.
Completion of annual Title IX investigator or compliance training/certification.
Experience supporting Title IX compliance, investigations, case management, or related civil rights functions in a higher education environment.

Responsibilities
