About The Position

The Deputy Superintendent, Business Services and Operations provides executive leadership and strategic oversight of LACOE's business, operational, and administrative functions. As a member of the Superintendent's Executive Cabinet, the position directs enterprise-wide operations, including finance, human resources, technology, facilities, procurement, and risk management, while ensuring fiscal stewardship, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and the effective alignment of resources with LACOE's mission and strategic priorities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in public administration, business administration, organizational leadership, educational leadership, finance, or other fields closely related to the job requirements of this classification from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation.
• Ten years of executive leadership experience overseeing multiple operational, administrative, business, or organizational functions within a large public, educational, or governmental agency.
• A valid California driver's license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to obtain transportation between job sites is required.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant Doctorate degree is preferred.
• Experience leading enterprise-wide operational strategy, organizational improvement initiatives, and complex cross-functional operations is highly desirable.
