About The Position
The McPherson County Sheriff's Office is accepting applications for a Full-time Deputy Sheriff, 12-hour shift position. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Providing general law enforcement services to those within the jurisdictional limits of the agency, preserving public peace, protecting life and property, preventing crime as well as the constitutional rights of all citizens encountered.
Requirements
- United States Citizen
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 21 years of age
- Valid Kansas driver's license
- Good moral character
- No felony or domestic violence convictions
- Successfully pass a criminal background investigation
- Successfully pass a psychological examination
- Successfully pass a drug and alcohol screening
- Successfully pass a written test
- Successfully pass a physical agility examination
