About The Position

Joint Strategic Technologies (JST) is seeking an experienced Deputy Program Manager for a full-time, on-site position in Washington, D.C. The position is contingent upon contract award. The Deputy Program Manager oversees contractor staff and acts as Program Manager in the Program Manager’s absence. The role manages contractual operations to meet or exceed requirements, monitors costs, schedules, performance, and resource reporting, and supports continuous service-delivery improvement. The Deputy Program Manager also helps ensure adherence to conduct standards and internal controls and resolves problems while minimizing disruption to contract activities. Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in a relevant field.
A master’s degree in a related field or 12 years of experience.
PMP certification is required.
An active Secret clearance is required.
Must successfully pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Oversee the Contractor staff as Deputy Program Manager.
Act as Program Manager in the Program Manager’s absence.
Ensure contractor staff adhere to standards of conduct and internal controls.
Manage contractual operations to meet or exceed contractual requirements.
Track costs, schedules, and performance for all tasks, as well as resource reporting.
Conduct continuous service-delivery improvement activities to support more efficient capabilities and performance.
Resolve problems with minimal disruption to activities performed under the contract.
