About The Position

As a Deputy Program Manager at Parsons, you will join a fast-paced team supporting mission-critical requirements for the Department of War and United States Army. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business, management, or related discipline).
  • 10+ years of professional experience in program or project management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance required.
  • Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills in managing large, complex programs.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Experience working with government contracts and DoD programs preferred.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Program Manager in the overall planning, execution, and management of complex, multi-year programs and projects.
  • Oversee day-to-day program operations, ensuring alignment with project goals, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and resources to achieve program objectives and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and security requirements.
  • Develop and maintain program documentation, reports, and briefings for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks, and implement process improvements to enhance program performance.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external partners, including government customers and subcontractors.
  • Serve as acting Program Manager in their absence.
