About The Position

Jon Ossoff for Senate is seeking a Deputy Press Secretary to support the Communications Department for the duration of the 2026 election cycle. This role will assist with the campaign’s aggressive effort to hold Republicans in the state of Georgia accountable and drive coverage about Senator Ossoff’s work on behalf of Georgia families. This position requires relocation to Atlanta, GA. This role may require travel throughout the state on short notice.

Responsibilities

Assist the Communications Team with drafting media advisories, press releases, memos, talking points, and additional external communications as needed.
Assist with pitching local media and handling in-state communications-related inquiries.
Support the planning and execution of earned media events for the campaign across the state, including but not limited to press conferences, roundtables discussions, and meet and greets.
Take on additional duties and tasks as assigned and as needs evolve for a fast-paced Communications Team.
